Technology for Living is a registered non-profit and charitable organization operating two main programs which are the Provincial Respiratory Outreach Program (PROP) and the Technology for Independent Living Program (TIL). PROP supports people who need assistance breathing and TIL provides technology to people with a high-level disability so they can live in their own home, in safety and comfort.

We provide a range of devices that promote independence like automatic door openers, devices for closing blinds, devices to read books, devices to pull blankets over a bed etc. We receive a small amount of funding which covers labour. A contribution from you would go towards purchasing technology that we can adapt and change to suit the needs of people with disabilities. Any amount you are able to contribute will be greatly appreciated. An automatic door can cost more than $3000 whereas a Google Home device is under $50. 100% of your donation will go towards equipment and assistive devices.
